WOW! I jsut realized it has been exactly a month since my last post! How horrible of me! In my defence it has been a busy month, lol. I will try to let you in on all the new stuff!

Chrys Cross Bridal
WE HAVE A NEW SITE!!! It's wonderful! It tracks rep orders, they get their own redirects, adn it has a built in shopping cart! It was a bit or work putting it together, but it's up and running now! check it out! It's still at http://chryscrossbridal.com
We have launched the rep program and have signed 7 new reps so far! I am very excited about the upcoming wedding season! We also added some new lines, including tiaras, bridesmaids, union fashion, and a FLower Girl Boutique with wonderful gowns for little girls! These are great for every day, communion and party wear as well!

Expo Connector
I have been workign my butt off getting my Expo Connector tables up and attendign expo chats! You shoudl stop in sometime: www.expo-connector.com The chats are free and a lot fo fun!

The Kids
Ariel had her first report card, which was great of course. But we were informed that she needs to see an eye specialist so that is a bit of a downer.
Kahlan also has a specialist appointment for his heart murmer this Monday, so pray about that if you can!
We've been in overdrive, shopping for flower girl dresses this month for two upcoming weddings:) Ariel is in her aunty's wedding and Rayelle is in her godmother's wedding! SO exciting!
Oh, and I have started teaching Christain Living to the grade one classes in Ariel's school once a week! I was nervous the first time, but we just read a story, and do a bit of discussion, and the kids LOVE it! It's been a blast! This week we read "Sister For Sale" which is about a brother who wants to get ride of a sister. The moral is that God made her so he should love her to. Anyway, I brought Rayelle along, since it kind of fit and it was so much fun!

Well, I am off. I am going to start making a schedule and I will begin updating this thing at least weekly if not more!

One Million Banners

Hey guys:) I have been busy but I wanted to stop in and tell you about this new site I found: 1 Million Banners. Basically, it's a banner exchange combined with google like text ads. You display banners or the google like text boxes (see my menu?) on your site/blog and you earn credits each time a banner/text ad is shown on your site. Vendor Fairs, Rretreats, New Shops and Websites

LOL, don't you love it when there is so much to put in here, you can't really find a good enough title? Well, First off, I promised a recap of Trisha's Vendor Fair. Well, sales were not amazing, but I made enough sales to cover my cost, so that is good. I also made some great contacts, and got some great advertising and publicity for myself, and won a bunch of prizes!!! All said, it was a big success and I can't wait for next year (you are doing it again next year, right Trisha?)

New Shops

Retreats
I signed up for Toni's vendor fair this weekend and it looks like it's going to be a great fair! I was so excited, the vendor list is great and there are some great prizes being handed out! Unfortunately I had forgotten about the church retreat my husband and I are supposed to attend this weekend! Toni has graciously agreed to host my party for me, but I am a bit disappointed that I can't be there. Of course, one night in the cabin with hubby will probably go along way to cheering me up :)......

Websites
I have decided to buy a domain name and revamp my site into a free standing store front rather then an auciton based site. I will still use aucitons, of course, but now all my items will be available for immediate purchas on my site without having to join and bid. This will of course take a bit of time to get finished but I hope to have that done by the end of next week. I'll update on that again later on.

Here is another AMAZING craftswoman! She makes some neat jewelry pieces. I asked her to try and find me a daisy charm, I would love a white and pink bracelet with my signature daisy and maybe matching earrings or necklace:)

The catalogues were amazing, they have a little of everything. I won free shipping and ordered a cookie press/icing press, a cook book and a apple spoon rest.

So that rounds out my first vendor fair:) I am so tired!!!!! But it was fun. I will put together a recap of it all yet for you guys:)

Day Two Has Come and gone and it was a bit less tiring, with only 3 parties, but a huge bash! I joined both No More Baskets and Kat's Koffee and I am looking forward to adding them to my site!

Kari is awesome! Her handmade designs are amazing! She is going to see if she get get her denim jacket in a bigger size so I can get a spiderman one for my son. I love Discovery Toys and I actually used to sell it back a few years ago. They have a ton of awesome stuff now for older kids as well! I found out after that I won a $20 gift certificate so I am going to get a MARBLEWORKS Set for my hubby:) We used to have one but it got lost in moving and he was more heart broken the the kids.

There are some great stuff on this site! I ordered the Cool Girls Bath Set for my daughter for Chirstmas and some Lavender bath Confetti for me:) Also getting some free samples, very excited about that!

I am totally in love with these gift cans! I think I am going to design my own custom can to send out as a thank-you gift to customers at my Bridal Shoppe! Or maybe gift certificates so they can get one wiht their wedding picture on it. That would be so cool. The party was a blast. The big kicker? We all are getting free chocolate samples! I can't wait!!!!!!!!

Birthday Parties, Top Sites and Clearance

Well here I am again:) Only a few days left till the vendor fair:) It's so exciting! I've had a busy weekend. Ariel's Birthday party was today, and it was a blast. At first I was worried about the cost. We had it at McDonald's and it was $6 per kid! She had 4 friends show up, and with her siblings, parents and friends, the bill came to under $65. That's not bad if you consider it included food, decorating, birthday hats and goody bags for each of the kids to take home. Plus the only work I had to do as printing invitations and dressing my kids:) Anyway, it was a blast.

So I've been working on a few things the last few days. I started my own TopSites list! There is a button on the side if you want to sign up, I'd love to have you and it's 100% free! It's a great way to support and promote other WAHMs:) This site is for anything to do with moms, if you have a store, a blog, a resource page, or anything and you are a mom, you're welcome to join!

I also added a clearance section to my store. I have a bunch of old inventory I need to clear out. Avon stuff, jewelry stuff and Mary Kay stuff. I have to move them though. II only have about 1/2 of them up and it already makes up half of the entire auction site's listings, which does not make the other moms to happy. So I am going to wait till after then vendor fair and then move my Clearance auctions to a different auction house, were it is more suited. I have some great stuff up right now though, all starting at $1. I'm thinking I might use my clearance section to sell of some of the clothes and toys filling up my storage boxes:) But I'll work on that a bit later, I have to gat a better camera to take pictures of everything. Oh, and I started an Online Portfolio for my graphics. I added it to my site, with a collection of logos, banners and websites I have built, to show to prospective clients:) I don't know if I'll use it much, but it will be nice to have anyway.

Well, I back to working on promoting the Vendor Fair now:) I can't wait!

Vendor Fair Update

WOW, the vendor fair has grown! When I signed up, there were 4 vendors! Now look at the list below? I copied this list with dates and times from Trisha's blog so you guys can see it! (Trisha is the gal coordinating this, her site is www.wanttobeawahm.com) I hope to see you there! I'm so excited! I'm not going to be able to make it to any of the Tuesday stuff because we have Bible study that night, but I will be there for most of Wednesday an Thursday's parties!

I've almost got my store ready. For some reason, my site is down today, as is my site host, but I sent them an e-mail to see what the problem is, hopefully that will be taken care of soon so I can get back to work! I want to have it done before the weekend so I don't have to work on it then:)

Some New Sites Up

Well, it's been a busy week. I decided to start up a new page in my Free Tools site specifically for WAHMs. Check it out! It's small right now but I'm gonna keep adding more as I go along. I also created a store front for my WAHMchicks store to make it easy to navigate:) I wanted to have it ready before the Vendor Fair next week. I still have to work some more on my listings, but I'm almost there!

Oh, and we got new pics taken of the kids:) Here are my favorites:)

Getting into a new routine

Well, until about 4 weeks ago, I worked full-time. So being at home has been a change but I have no regrets. It has been hectic so far. All three of my kids had their birthdays in the last 2 weeks, Ariel started school and Kahlan started PReschool. But now we are finaly getting into a routine and I have started having time to start building my online business. My goal is to build my business to $200/profit per month by December.

I have found some interesting resources. If you are a mom, you should check out www.wanttobeawahm.com. They have a great site going! I joined the Vendor Fair which is coming up October 4, 5 and 6th and so now I am spending some time gettimg my WAHMchicks store ready before the big event!

I've also spent some time getting into ISurfAuctions to promote my auctions and websites! this is a great traffic tool! If you run auctions or have a website, use the link on the side to register for free! You get 250 hits when you sign up and if you register with my link and become active (surf 30 sites) I will give you another 100 free! That means 360 Hits OR 1440 Banner Impressions absolutely free, even if you never come back again! It's really awesome!
